India’s first mobile lab started for testing of Covid-19

New Delhi. The government is constantly taking new steps to prevent the spread of corona virus across the country. Under this, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan on Thursday started India’s first mobile lab for testing Covid-19.

The mobile lab launched for testing Covid-19 will be deployed in the interior and inaccessible parts of the country. In a mobile lab, 25 RT-PCR tests, 300 ELISA tests can be done daily. In addition, tests can be done for TB and HIV according to CGHS rates.

After the introduction of the mobile lab, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said, “We started the battle of Covid-19 testing with one lab from 1 February. Today we have 953 labs across the country. Out of these 953 there are about 699 government labs. . Such innovations have been developed to ensure test facilities in remote areas. “
