New Delhi: In the last twenty-four hours in India, 43,846 new cases of corona virus infection were reported, which is the highest number of cases reported in a single day this year. According to data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday, the number of infection cases in the country increased to 1,15,99,130 with new patients.
After the 11th consecutive day of increase in the number of patients under treatment of Covid-10, this number has now risen to 3,09,087 which is 2.66 percent of the total cases of infection. According to the data, the recovery rate has come down to 95.96 percent. According to the data given by the ministry, this was the highest increase in the cases reported daily in the last 115 days. According to the data received till eight o’clock in the morning, 197 more patients died due to the epidemic after which the number of dead reached 1,59,755.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 11,33,602 samples were tested on Saturday and 23,35,65,119 samples have been tested till 20 March.
