New Delhi: The number of patients infected with the corona virus is continuously increasing in India. Even today more than 9 thousand new cases have come to light. On Friday, the number of corona infections has increased to 2,36,001. While 9,279 new cases have been confirmed in one day. According to Covid19india.org, there are 1,16,109 active cases. While 1,13,231 people are healthy or discharged. At the same time, the death toll has increased to 6,649. 286 people lost their lives in a day. Among the Corona affected countries, India has now overtaken Italy to the number 6 position.
The most affected state of Corona in the country is Maharashtra. 2,436 new cases have been registered in the state in a day. After which the number of total infected has increased to 80,229. There are currently 42,224 active cases in the state while 35,156 people are healthy or discharged. 139 more people have lost their lives due to this virus, after which the total death toll has increased to 2,849. The maximum number of cases are being reported from the financial capital Mumbai. So far, 46,080 people have been confirmed infected in Mumbai. Out of which 1,519 people have died.
Corona cases are also increasing in the country’s capital Delhi. In the last 24 hours, 1,330 new cases of Corona have been registered and 49 people have died. The total number of Covid infectives has increased to 26,334 of which 15,311 are active cases. So far 708 people have died due to this virus in the capital.
Number of corona infected across 19 thousand in Gujarat
Corona continues to wreak havoc in Gujarat. 510 new cases of corona have been reported in a single day, after which the total number of covids infected has increased to 19,119. So far 1,190 people have died in the state from this virus. The maximum number of cases are being reported from Ahmedabad. 324 new cases have been confirmed in the district. After which the total number of infected has increased to 13,678 of which 968 people have died.
The case of corona is also increasing rapidly in Tamil Nadu. The number of new Covid infectives has been recorded at 1,438. After which the total number of infected has increased to 28,694. Of which 235 people have died.
