New Delhi: India’s drug regulator DCGI has given approval to Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company Cipla to import Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use in the country. Covid Task Force chief VK Paul has told this in the press conference. Moderna’s vaccine will be the fourth Vovid-19 vaccine after Covishield, Covaccine and Sputnik V.
NITI Aayog Member (Health) Dr VK Paul said that Moderna has been approved, which has been developed internationally. The new approval is for restricted use. He said that we will soon finalize the deal on Pfizer as well.
