Delhi overtakes Tamil Nadu in Covid cases, Maharashtra at number one

New Delhi: With more than 59,000 cases of Covid-19 in the country, Delhi has become the second state among various states and union territories while Tamil Nadu ranks third. At the same time, Maharashtra remains number one with more than one lakh cases.

In Delhi, 3 thousand positive cases of corona virus have been confirmed in 24 hours. With this, the number of corona virus infected patients has increased to 59746 in Delhi. On Sunday, Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 3870 cases. 27260 corona cases were found in Gujarat. At the same time, the figure has reached 17731 in Uttar Pradesh. Tamil Nadu ranks third in the country with 59,377 cases. 757 people have lost their lives here.

The number of patients recovering in the last 13 days has surpassed the number of patients being treated. Now 1 lakh 74 thousand 803 patients are being treated, while 2 lakh 37 thousand 252 have been cured. So far, a total of 13 thousand 704 patients have died from Corona.

According to ICMR’s June 21 testing data, Tamil Nadu tops the test, while Delhi is at number 8. There have been 7 lakh 71 thousand 263 tests in Tamil Nadu. There have been 7 lakh 70 thousand 711 tests in Maharashtra. Samples of 6 lakh 10 thousand 393 people have been taken so far in Rajasthan. 5 lakh 29 thousand 206 tests in Andhra Pradesh, 5 lakh 5 thousand 786 tests in Karnataka, 4 lakh 49 thousand 108 tests in Uttar Pradesh, 3 lakh 72 thousand 370 tests in West Bengal. At the same time, 3 lakh 20 thousand 932 people have been tested in Delhi.
