New Delhi: 24 people, including serving and retired personnel of the armed forces, were found infected with the corona virus at the Army’s RR Hospital in Delhi. It also includes two medical officers, 3 nursing officers and some army personnel. At the same time, 45 Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans have been found infected in Delhi itself. Of these, 43 were deployed in Delhi’s internal security. At the same time, two soldiers were on duty to make law and order with Delhi Police.
Corona virus cases have risen to 67 in the Border Security Force (BSF). The maximum number of cases were reported from Delhi Battalion and Tripura. The force personnel were stationed at Jamia Nagar in Delhi to maintain law and order.
A BSF spokesman said on Tuesday that 13 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported from a force camp in Tripura. These include 10 personnel and three members of a jawan’s family (wife and two children). He said that the number of cases reported from the border state of Tripura is now 24. BSF Delhi unit has reported 41 cases.
