New Delhi: The Dean of the Medical College of Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and the head of Urology Department has been found to be Corona positive. He has been quarantined after being corona positive. They will remain quarantine at home as they have mild fever. Corona test will also be done for the relatives who come in contact.
A hospital source said on Sunday that the dean of Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital has tested positive for the highly contagious corona virus disease. “He has mild fever, symptoms are not present. He is present at home at the moment. His report came positive on Saturday evening,” the source said. The source also revealed that the 60-year-old doctor is a high-risk patient.
RML Hospital is the nodal center for Corona virus cases management in Delhi and Dean is one of the frontline Corona warriors.
He does not know how he got infected, but it can happen from seeing a patient or through hospital staff. The source said, “Contact tracing is going on. The medical fraternity is praying for his speedy recovery.”
