New Delhi: There has been a change in the national policy regarding the admission of patients of Corona to the hospital. Until now, the Covid Positive Report was mandatory for admission. The report will no longer be required under the new changes. The Union Health Ministry has directed the Chief Secretary of the states and union territories. Accordingly, implement the new policy within 3 days.
Under this policy, such suspected patients will be able to get admission in the suspected ward. This includes Covid Care Center, a fully dedicated Covid Care Center and Covid Hospital. Also, it has been made clear in the new policy that patients cannot be denied on the basis of which state they are from. Any patient can be admitted anywhere.
According to the order, the Covid report does not have to be positive, patients with symptoms can also be kept in the hospital. This change will provide considerable relief to the relatives of patients wandering for treatment. In fact, many hospitals refuse to enroll the patient in the hospital due to negative Covid report, while some patients do not get admission because their patients are showing symptoms of Covid.
