New Delhi: The second wave of COVID-19 in India is creating new records every day at an alarming pace. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday morning, 2,17,353 new coronavirus cases have been registered across the country during the last 24 hours, with the total number of covid cases recorded in India so far 1,42, 91,917. According to government data, 1,185 patients have died due to coronavirus infection during the last 24 hours across the country, and the total number of deaths from corona in the country has risen to 1,74,308.

The number of under-treated patients in India is also steadily increasing, with the number of new cases of COVID-19 in India battling various variants of coronaviruses, and the number of active patients is more than 15L at this time. According to the government data released on Friday morning, 15,69,743 patients are currently undergoing treatment in India.

According to the data released on Friday morning, on Thursday, 27,30,359 doses have been applied throughout the country, with a total of 11,72,23,509 corona vaccine doses have been applied across India.
