According to the data, the total number of people free from infection has increased to 51,87,826. With this, the rate of recovery of patients in the country increased to 83.01 percent. According to him, there are currently 9,40,441 patients undergoing treatment for corona virus, which is 15.42 percent of the total cases. The corona virus death rate in the country is 1.57 percent. Covid-19 cases in India crossed 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 million on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September and 60 lakh on 28 September. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 7,31,10,041 samples were tested till September 28 in the country, of which 11,42,811 samples were tested on Monday.
