Covid-19 cases exceeded 54 lakhs in India

New Delhi: Despite millions of efforts of the central and state governments, the outbreak does not seem to stop. Corona patients have crossed 54 lakhs in the country. Meanwhile, 92,605 new cases of corona were reported in the country during the last 24 hours.

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday morning, 1133 patients have died in the last 24 hours. So far 54,00,620 cases have been reported, of which 10,10,824 are active cases and 43,03,044 lakh have been cured, who have been discharged from hospitals. At the same time, 86,752 patients have died.

The Ministry of Health said on Saturday that India has surpassed the United States by achieving a historic global achievement in terms of recovery of covid-19 patients and has reached the top position. The Ministry said that so far 42,08,431 covid-19 patients have become healthy in the country, which is the highest number of infection-free patients in all the countries of the world.
