Mumbai: While the cases of corona virus are decreasing in the country, the situation in Maharashtra is constantly worsening. In 24 hours, 11,141 new cases have been reported inside the state. After which the number of infected has increased to 22,19,727. At the same time, 38 people have died. More than 10,000 cases have been reported in Maharashtra for the third consecutive day.
According to the data released on Sunday, the death toll from Corona in the state has reached 52,478. At the same time, 20,68,044 people have recovered from Corona and have gone home. There are 97,983 active cases in Maharashtra.
In view of the increasing cases of corona in Aurangabad, the state government has decided to impose night curfew in the district. Eknath Shinde, a minister in the state government, said, “The night ban (9 am – 6 am) in Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) has been imposed on the weekends as a complete lockdown amidst rising corona cases from 11 March to 4 April. Schools, colleges, marriage halls will remain closed during this period. ”
