Meerut: Corona virus infection in Meerut is moving towards its peak. In the district where three corona-infected people died today, 16 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported.
According to the medical bulletin released in the evening, so far, 30 deaths have occurred due to corona virus infection in Meerut, while total cases have been 473. Of these, there are 117 active cases while 326 people have been discharged after treatment.
Among the three people killed today were a 79-year-old ex-military worker, a 60-year-old elderly woman and a 42-year-old woman from Purva Ilahibakhsh.
Significantly, in view of the horrific situation of Corona in Meerut, the administration is imposing a full curfew for two days a week, yet there is no success in curbing this epidemic.
