New Delhi: Corona virus infection cases in the central police forces under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs crossed 7000 on Wednesday after 242 new cases were revealed. These cases are Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Security Guard (NSG) and National Disaster. Redemption forces (NDRF) have surfaced.
According to the latest data, 7059 patients of Covid-19 have been reported in these forces so far, out of which 3233 patients are under treatment while other patients have recovered after treatment. According to the data, the maximum number of 2229 cases were reported in the country’s largest paramilitary force CRPF. There are about 3.25 lakh personnel in this force. Subsequently, 2093 infections have been reported in BSF and 1306 in CISF.
