Lucknow: The corona epidemic continues to wreak havoc in Uttar Pradesh, 72 more people died from this deadly disease during the last 24 hours and infection was confirmed in 13685 new patients. Medical and Health Department Additional Chief Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad said on Monday that 72 Kovid-19 infected patients died in the state during the last 24 hours.
He said that this is the largest figure for a single day in this month. He said that the number of people who died due to this infection in the state has now increased to 9224. He said that Kovid-19 infection has been confirmed in 13685 new patients in the state during the last 24 hours and 3197 patients have been cured during this period.
Prasad said that the number of cases under treatment in the state at present is 81576. He said that more than 192000 samples were tested in the state on Sunday.
