Corona: 16,838 new COVID-19 cases filed in India in last 24 hours

New Delhi: The number of people who have died due to this epidemic has again risen to more than 100, due to the sudden rise in the cases of Covid-19 in many states of the country. The epidemic has killed 113 people during the past 24 hours. During this period, active cases have increased by 2906 due to the relatively low number of people being coronated.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, 16,838 new cases of corona infection have occurred during the last 24 hours, taking the number of infected to more than one crore 11 lakh 73 thousand.

In the last 24 hours, 13,819 patients have become healthy, including one crore eight lakh 39 thousand 894 people who have been coronated so far. With the increase of 2906 active cases, it has crossed 1.76 lakh. During the same period, the death toll from this disease has increased to one lakh 57 thousand 548 with 113 deaths.
