Bhopal: In view of increasing cases of corona in Madhya Pradesh, a total lockdown has been imposed in three cities of the state on Sunday, 21 March. The cities where the lockdown has been imposed include Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and Jabalpur.
The state government has announced a one-day bandh on Sunday, March 21 here. In view of the fast growing case of Corona in these cities, a one-day lockdown has been decided. All schools and colleges in these three cities will remain closed till 31 March. This decision was taken in a review meeting chaired by CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan today.
Madhya Pradesh Home Department issued the order on Friday, stating that there will be a lockdown on every Sunday till further orders in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur. At the same time, due to the rising corona outbreak in these three cities, orders have been issued to impose nightly curfew in all 3 cities every Saturday night from 10 am to 6 am. The government exempted essential services. Along with this, in addition to Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, schools have been ordered to be closed by 31 March in these 3 cities of Indora and Jabalpur.
