New Delhi: Coronavirus cases are increasing continuously in Delhi, the capital of the country. Delhi government has imposed a full curfew in Delhi from tonight to next Monday, due to increase in cases of infection. On Sunday, 25,462 new cases were reported in Delhi in a day, with the positivity rate reaching 30 percent. The rate of infection is 29.74 percent, which means that almost every third sample in Delhi is found to be infected.
Let me tell you, weekend curfew has already been imposed in Delhi. At the same time, the recent Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that there are less than 100 ICU beds left in the city. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that 1,400 to 2,000 beds will be ready for Covid-19 patients in the city in the next two days. He reviewed the construction of Covid care center there by visiting Yamuna Sports venue and Commonwealth Games Village.
So far, the total number of infected people in the national capital has increased to 8,53,460, while the death toll has increased to 12,121.
