Patna: In Bihar, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Legislative Councilor Sunil Kumar Singh has died due to corona virus on Tuesday evening. This is the first time in the state that a major leader has died due to Corona. Sunil Kumar Singh was undergoing treatment at AIIMS in Patna.
Singh was admitted to AIIMS in Patna on July 13 for treatment after the infection was confirmed in Singh, a resident of Rajwa village in Biraul subdivision of Darbhanga district. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, the nodal officer of Covid-19 in Patna AIIMS, said that the councilor died on Tuesday evening. Sunil Kumar Singh was 66 years old. He is survived by his wife with two sons and a daughter.
