Lucknow: The corona virus havoc in Uttar Pradesh continued to rise and 112 cases were reported in the state on Wednesday, taking the total number of people infected with the corona virus to 1449. Uttar Pradesh Health Department said that Pratapgarh district has become corona virus-free, after which the number of corona-free districts in the state has increased to 11.
Uttar Pradesh Health Department said, “Uttar Pradesh has 112 fresh cases reported on Wednesday, after which the total number of cases has increased to 1449. So far 21 patients have died of infection in the state, while 173 others have been cured. “
The UP Health Department reported, “Pratapgarh district corona has become virus-free. Pool testing has been started at RIMS in Saifai. 3500 RT-PCR tests are being conducted daily in Uttar Pradesh.”
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad had said, “Not a single corona has active patients in 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh.” “All the patients of Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hathras, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Shahjahanpur, Maharajganj, Barabanki, Hardoi and Kaushambi districts have now recovered,” he said.
