Most of the cases are from Munnapurwa, Colonelganj, Kulibazar and Anwarganj. These are all hotspot zones. Shukla said that with the new cases, the number of such cases in Kanpur has increased to 185 so far. People coming in contact with patients are being searched. The sudden increase in the number of Carona virus cases suggests that people living in hotspot areas are still not following the lockdown rules.
