Meerut: Compared to other big cities of the state, the cases of Corona are decreasing in Meerut. Today, 33 corona infects were confirmed in the city, while one corona victim has died.
According to the report received from the Health Department, of the 2748 samples tested, 33 reported positive. In this way, the total number of corona infected in Meerut has now increased to 1943 in which 1548 people have been discharged after treatment while 308 patients are currently being treated in covid hospitals.
In the city today, a 49-year-old man living on Civil Line Meerut died of corona infection. The number of people who died of corona in Meerut has now risen to 87.
Today 2488 samples have been sent for testing, report of 691 samples is yet to come. Till date 84813 samples have been tested in Meerut, of which 82180 reports have come out negative.
