Mumbai: Maharashtra has been the most affected by the corona virus. The greatest danger in the state lies with the police and doctors who are fighting the disease from the front. In the last 24 hours, 114 policemen have come to Corona virus positive in Maharashtra and one policeman has died due to Corona virus. So far, 62,228 people have been infected with the corona virus in the state while 2,098 people have died due to virus infection.
While giving information about this, Maharashtra police said that 114 policemen have been infected by Corona virus infection in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra. A policeman has also died due to Corona infection. The number of policemen infected with Covid-19 in the state has increased to 2,325. So far 26 policemen have died due to Corona virus infection.
According to the Maharashtra Police, out of the total policemen who lost their lives due to Corona virus infection, 16 are from Mumbai, three others from Nashik Rural, two from Pune and one each from Solapur City, Solapur Rural, Thane and Mumbai ATS. The officer said that out of these Kovid-19 patients, 249 are police officers while 1,962 are constabulary rank personnel. He said that all these are being treated in various hospitals.
