12 new corona cases found, 6 of them PAC jawans
Meerut: The havoc of corona infection in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut does not seem to be decreasing. The health department and the district administration are also facing difficulties due to new corona positive cases coming up every day. Health bulletin released late Tuesday found 12 new corona cases. six of them are PAC jawans.
Apart from that another death due to corona virus on Wednesday in Meerut. The corona infection was confirmed on May 14 in a 78-year-old woman living in the city’s Civil Line area. After which she was admitted to the Corona ward of the Medical. Where she died on Wednesday. CMO Dr. Rajkumar has confirmed this. This is the 24th death from Corona in the district so far. The number of corona positive patients has increased to 389.
According to the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rajkumar, in the report received from the lab on Tuesday, a sample report of 6 PAC personnel has come out positive. Reports of a 60-year-old man and his wife living in Thapar Nagar in the Sadarbazar area of the city’s police station have also come to Corona positive. A sample report of a woman hailing from Brahmapuri has come corona positive. This woman is pregnant. After coming to Corona Report positive, all these will now be shifted to Corona ward and treated.
The six PAC personnel whose sample report came positive on Tuesday night were kept in the Quarantine Center. His duty was in the hot spot area, it is believed that they suffered from infection there.
