So, companies usually try to go for unique products that offer a different taste and feel for the customers in order to win over the competition and hold a market position. The reason they want to be unique from others is that when everyone is doing the same thing, there has to be someone or something that is different to give a fresh breath of air to customers. Just imagine how would you feel when you do the same thing over and over again for the rest of your life, your life would become boring.
That’s why people believe in uniqueness as one of the important qualities in today’s times. Something that is value-addition to others. Say, for example, if you shop online, you see a lot of products listed on the platform. But what will attract your eyes and interest would be something that is running in your subconscious mind. If you are a techie, you will by default be attracted to technological products and if you are a foodie, you will explore more food-related items.
If you are a lover of books or dresses, your notifications from the website will come more on these lines because of your search history. But do you think what you will buy is what others will also buy? Not necessarily because not everyone’s taste of choice and interest is the same. People buy things based on their unique needs and that’s where uniqueness would come into the picture.
For example, a father of a son who is studying in a school will think of buying an educational tab based on his son’s interest in learning online. Will he buy a basic tab or will he buy a tab that will be advanced so that he can also use the tab for his official work, that becomes his unique need based on which he will make the purchase decision.
