Online shopping company Amazon has allowed its employees to work from home till June 2021.
The company has extended the timeline for the employees to return to work at office because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The rule that is applicable for its branches all over the world seems to make the employees more luckier.
Employees whose role at work can be completed from home can do so till 30 June 2021, said an Amazon spokesperson in an emailed statement to a media company.
The employees who work from the Amazon’s offices all over the world are strictly following physical distancing, deep cleaning, temperature checks, and face coverings and hand sanitizer.
Despite e-commerce company investing a huge amount in order to follow the precautionary measures, over 19,800 of its employees have tested positive for the coronavirus since March 2020.
Hence, the company has come up with such a work from home decision to safeguard its employees and also carry out its operations smoothly.
