BoycottTanishq started trending on social media regarding advertising. According to Tanishq’s advertisement, a Hindu woman is married in a Muslim family, who is ready for her baby shower. During this time, the Muslim family is seen playing Hindu customs.
The people of Twitter did not like Tanishq’s advertisement and named it Love Jihad. Due to this advertisement controversy, Tanishq has turned off the comment section on YouTube.
More than 17,000 people tweeted with the hashtag calling for a ban on the advertisement and a boycott of the jewellery brand.
