ZEE5 India recently announced that Tarun Katial has resigned from the position of CEO at the company.
The company thanked Tarun for his valued efforts and able leadership to help Zee5 rise as one of the largest ConTech brands in India.
The move came as a part of the company’s recent strategic restructuring and Amit Goenka will lead ZEE5 and other digital platforms as the president – Digital Businesses and Platforms.
Mr. Tarun has been responsible for helping ZEE5 gain a leadership position in the industry. Now the platform currently has 100+ Originals across genres and languages and has 100 million plus downloads on Google Play Store.
Mr. Tarun holds a MBA degree and before joining ZEE5, he served as the founder CEO at BIG FM.
