You will be surprised to know that already over 100 families in Pune are using the new service which has been started by a startup company called Maideasy.
Now you don’t have to worry whether your maid will turn up at the scheduled time or not. As entrepreneurs, Mandar Ghugari and Sunita Ghugari who are Maideasy’s co-founders have got a professional network of maids online. The online facility started by Maideasy practices in attaching families with professionals for elderly care, house help, cooking, babysitting, and patient care, among others. The start-up will be starting an office in Pimpri-Chinchwad around September and is also planning to come up with an app.
Mandar who is an IT professional got struck with the idea around January-February last year when his friend from the US called him asking for help for his elderly mother who stayed in Pune. Mandar found out there were lots of companies who took care of patients but didn’t have much in store for elderly care. Thus, he connected his friend to a professional who specialized in elderly care and that’s how the idea came to Mandar to help many people out there with the help of a startup that will provide help for elderly homes and professionals in a systematic manner.
Currently, the company has a list of more than 200 helpers who are hired from areas around Pune. Also, the startup puts up announcements of professionals required through areas that are highly visited and many maids reach out to him through word of mouth publicity as well. The startup company is indeed a ray of hope for people who are looking for professionals to be hired for domestic help and elderly care.
