PM Modi aims to make India as a global investment destination

At the recently held 3rd Annual Bloomberg New Economy Forum, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his views of how he is looking at India as a global investment destination.

Modi encouraged global investors to consider India’s efforts for urbanisation, mobility, innovation and sustainable solutions to enhance the living standards of the people.

India which started building 100 smart cities in 2015, has almost completed Rs. 1.4 lakh crore worth projects.

Modi also said how the work on metro rail is going on in 27 cities and how efforts are being made to deliver close to 1,000 km of metro rail system in the country by 2022.

Appreciating the “Make in India” initiative, Modi is hopeful that India and some of the African countries will be witnessing the biggest wave of urbanisation in the coming two decades.
