New Delhi: Mahindra cars have seen a huge price hike in India. Its car has become expensive by about ₹ 1 lakh. This is the third time that the company had last hiked the prices of its cars in May 2021. The price of the new Thar SUV has increased the most. According to a report by HT Auto, the Thar has become costlier by around ₹1 lakh. The price of the new SUV has increased from Rs 42,300 to Rs 1,02,000. The AX variant of the SUV has become costlier by Rs 67,000.
In terms of least change in prices, Mahindra XUV 500 gets costlier by Rs. 2,912 for the lower variant. Its top variant became expensive by Rs 3,188. The prices of the mini-SUV KUV100 have also gone up marginally. The price of KUV100 NXT has been increased from ₹3,016 to ₹3,344.
The premium SUV Alturas that rivals the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor has also seen a slight price hike. The price has been increased by ₹3,094.
