Other trains travelling through Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand had been cancelled by the Railways from January 15 to 22. The railways made the decision because of the interlocking work being done on the Lucknow-Alamnagar route.

More than 17 express trains travelling through Chhattisgarh and Bihar were also cancelled in a similar manner.

The railway officials, on the other hand, have rescheduled 5 trains and diverted 4 others. This decision was made due to continuing work on the fourth line in the Raipur-Bilaspur division of the South East Central Railway’s Kharsia-Robertson segment. The work has impacted the operations of numerous trains in the Raipur-Bilaspur division as a result of this.
