New Delhi: Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan has said about the impact of the Corona crisis on the Indian economy that it will take a long time to recover from it. Talking to a TV channel, Rajan said that at present, there is a situation of improvement in the economy, but still a lot needs to be done. It will still take a long time for the economy to fully recover. He said that India’s economy can be improved only by prevention in Corona, devising vaccine, expanding the scope of testing or by improving medical policy.
He said that India cannot give bailouts to all its companies like the US. Rajan said that the condition of the markets in the world and India is still being seen by the effect of Corona and its panic has not reduced. He said that due to corona in India, a situation of fear has arisen. It is also having an impact on the economy. The former governor said that we have not been able to stop the virus and it is continuously spreading its foot. He said that if it remains at this pace, then at one point it will also have an impact on the economy.
