New Delhi: This year till the date of June 30, there has been an increase of 14.4 percent in HDFC Bank loans. With this, the number of loans given by HDFC bank is Rs 11.47 lakh crore. HDFC Bank said in a regulatory filing that the total number of advances of the bank as on June 30, 2021 is Rs 11,475 billion, which is about 14.4 percent more than Rs 10,033 billion as of June 30, 2020. At the same time, there is a growth of about 1.3 percent as compared to Rs 11,328 billion on the date of 31 March 2021.
The private sector lender said its domestic retail loans grew 10.5 per cent year-on-year till the end of the first quarter of the current financial year. Whereas, there has been an increase of about 17 percent in domestic wholesale loans.
Among loan categories, retail loans grew by around 9 per cent and declined by around 1 per cent as on March 31, 2021. At the same time, there has been an increase of about 25 percent in commercial and rural banking loans as compared to June 30, 2020 and has seen an increase of about 4 percent as compared to March this year. Wholesale loans have grown by about 10.5 percent in comparison to June last year and have increased by about 1.5 percent compared to March 2021.
