Government is committed to the empowerment of traders: Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his government is committed to the empowerment of traders and is taking continuous steps in this direction.

Commenting on the decision of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to bring retail and wholesale trade under MSME, Shri Modi on Saturday tweeted, “Our government has taken a historic decision to bring retail and wholesale trade under MSME. . With this, crores of traders will get loans easily. Along with this, they will also get the benefit of many such schemes so that they will be able to increase their business. We are committed to empowering our traders.”

It is noteworthy that taking an important decision, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday announced revised guidelines for inclusion of retail and wholesale business as MSMEs.
