Google will give Rs 75,000 allowance to WFH employees

New Delhi: Right now the whole world is working from home. Work from home has started since March when the global lockdown began. Google said that it will start calling its employees office from July. In a statement issued by the company on Tuesday, it said that on July 6, the company will start the process of opening offices in different cities with 10 percent employees. If all goes well, 30 percent of the employees will be called to office by September.

In a statement issued by Google, it was also said that the employees working from home will be given a currency of 1000 dollars or its equivalent in the form of allowance by the company. Meaning people who are working in India will get close to 75 thousand. The company said that they would have needed furniture, equipment to work from home. Throughout this year most employees will have to work from home. In such a situation, this allowance is being given for the things needed.
