Fuel prices hiked for the fifth consecutive day, petrol reaches Rs 90 per liter

New Delhi: Petrol prices have increased by 28 paise per liter on Sunday. At the same time, the price of diesel has been increased by 29 paise per liter. In this way vehicle fuel prices have increased for the fifth consecutive day. Due to the rise in international crude oil prices, vehicle fuel has become expensive in the domestic market as well.

According to the price notification of petroleum marketing companies, after this increase, petrol in the capital Delhi has increased from Rs 83.13 to Rs 83.41 per liter. Similarly, the price of diesel has increased from Rs 73.32 to Rs 73.61 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol has exceeded Rs 90 per liter and diesel Rs 80 per liter.

Petroleum companies have again started revising fuel prices from 20 November. This is the fifth consecutive increase in vehicle fuel prices since then. Since 20 November, the price of vehicle fuel has been increased 14 times. Earlier, petroleum companies had not revised prices for about two months.
