Flying from Delhi airport will be expensive from next month

New Delhi: Flying from Delhi airport is going to be expensive from next month. The Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) has approved the imposition of additional charge to Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) from 1 February. Those flying out of Delhi from February 1 to March 31 will have to pay all taxes under this new arrangement with Rs 65.98.

This charge will be cut from April 2021, after which this charge will be Rs 53 for FY 2021-22, Rs 52.56 for FY 2022-23 and Rs 51.97 for FY 2023-24. If sources are to be believed, the Airport Authority has not yet accepted the demand of Delhi Airport, which said that a charge of 200 rupees should be levied for domestic flights going out of Delhi and 300 rupees for foreign flights.
