New Delhi: During the Corona epidemic, the Delhi government has given great relief to the workers. The Delhi government has increased the monthly salary of unskilled laborers from Rs 15,492 to Rs 15,908 and that of semi-skilled workers from Rs 17,069 to Rs 17,537 and that of skilled workers from Rs 18,797 to Rs 19,291 under dearness allowance. However, the new rates will be applicable from April 1. Apart from this, the minimum wages of supervisor and clerical employees have also been increased.
The monthly salary of non-matric employees has been increased from 17,069 to 17,537, but the monthly salary of non-graduate employees has been increased from 18,797 to 19,291 and for workers with graduate and above educational qualifications from 20,430 to 20,976. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the minimum wage paid to laborers in Delhi is the highest as compared to any other state in the country. At least 55 lakh contractual workers will benefit from this increase.
