New Delhi: According to the All India Consumer Price Index, DA can be increased by up to 4 per cent. In this report of AICPI, it has been mentioned that the dearness allowance of central employees can increase from 17 per cent to 28 per cent.

There will be a 3% increase in DA from January to June 2020. There will be a 4% increase from July to December 2020 and a 4% increase from January to June 2021. Overall DA (17 + 4 + 3 + 4) will increase per cent. Which is 28 percent of the total.

The Finance Minister of the country, Anurag Thakur, told Parliament in March that central employees will get the benefit of dearness allowance and the remaining installments will be given in July. Dearness allowance may increase in July. But it will be implemented from the same date. In such a situation, the central employees are not likely to get arrears.

In such a situation, more than 50 lakh central government employees and more than 65 lakh pensioners are waiting for the increase in DA. According to the information, they are likely to get increased salary in July. Explain that due to Corona virus, the central government has banned the DA from the last 3 installments.
