Dehradun: Chemical free products will not only protect the health of the people but also increase the income of farmers practicing organic farming. Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal, CEO of Clover Organic, while motivating the farmers to produce chemical free food informed them about the benefits of producing chemical free food.

On Friday evening, ‘Wellnest’ event was organized by Clover Organic with the aim of making fresh, chemical free, healthy, tasty and affordable food available to all. The farmers who attended the ‘An Evening of True Health and Wellness’ held in Razzmatazz Cafe were inspired by CEO Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal to use Wellnest to sell their products. To promote the health and well being of all the city dwellers, Clover Organic is planning to conduct ‘Wellness’ event on a monthly basis.

Director Mrs. Pinky Aggarwal said that the program organized by Clover Organic on social basis aims to give proper advice to more than 45,000 farmers for their produce and sale. This project by Clover Organic aims at conserving the environment besides providing business opportunities to farmers and budding entrepreneurs at highly subsidized rates.

The chief guest of the program Mukta Patil (Nutritionist) while appreciating the organization of the program asked the farmers to focus on nutritious products. She said that there is a huge demand for nutritious food at present and fetches higher prices than expected.

Waste warrior and poet Vineet Panchi explained the methods of using waste composting in agriculture. Addressing the farmers, Vineet said that the things which we throw away as useless can prove to be very useful for farming. The nutritionist who came in the program created awareness about health and fitness. The farmers were thrilled to see the puppet show. Farmers Deepak Upadhyay and Ashish Vyas, who came to the program, told their experiences and told the farmers how to increase their income by using ‘Wellnest’.

24 stalls were set up by various companies in the programme. In which The Organic Tree, Amyra Natural, Ripple Farm, Mahi Ceramic, Uttara Fish, Purkhul, West Warrior, PHL, Paul Pender, Art of Bani, Pravah, Deepti Jain, Doon Gooseberry, Jivisa, Valley Culture, Namhaya, Chitku were included. These stalls displayed Joys candles, pine needle decoration items, handmade pickles, Himalayan spices, millet bakery products, and organic and fresh vegetables and fruits grown by the farmers.

Event manager Himani Upadhyay and other personnel cooperated in organizing the programme. The guests at the event relished organic and chemical free food for snacks and dinner.
