68 years old Anand Mahindra made the comment just hours after the Chennai Super Kings – CSK gained its fifth IPL final under the leadership of Dhoni. The team triumphed over 2022 champions Gujarat Titans with the help of five wickets in a last-ball surprise. The match commenced on Monday and concluded at 1.30 midnight on Tuesday.

Sharing his views on the social network Twitter, the business tycoon said that just like others, he was also delighted to hear about MS Dhoni being a part of IPL for one more year. But he hopes he will not continue his journey in IPL for longer as he would like to see him in the political space.

Anand Mahindra had earlier associated with Dhoni on a panel for National Cadet Corps – NCC in 2021. He shared how Dhoni’s intellectual capabilities are in alignment with his skills in the sports arena. He not only makes a great fit for the future leader but his humble and assertive nature makes him provide innovative ideas to the concerned parties.

Dhoni was appreciated by all sides after his tactics, cool attitude, and important stumping assisted CSK to get the record-winning IPL title. The 41 years old former Indian skipper aims to keep playing despite many putting down his sports skills at the start of the match. His calm and mindful presence made him get the trophy for CSK.

Mumbai-based Mahindra Group is a business conglomerate that has its presence in agri-business, aftermarket, automotive, components, construction, equipment, aerospace, defence, energy, farm equipment, industrial equipment, information technology, leisure and hospitality, logistics, real estate, and retail. Anand Mahindra comes from a business family as he is the grandson of Jagdish Chandra Mahindra who is the co-founder of Mahindra & Mahindra.

Born on 1 May 1955, Anand Mahindra has defied all stereotypes related to aging as he keeps sharing his motivational lessons every now and then on social media platforms. His net worth as of 2023 is reported to be $2.1 billion says a Forbes report. He graduated from Harvard University and Harvard Business School.

He is a strong supporter of charitable causes and set up an NGO in 1996 to support education for poor girls in the country. He is considered to be one of the world’s great leaders in a listing by a foreign magazine. He is also awarded the Padma Bhushan Award, which is the third-highest civilian award in the nation.

Dhoni has a huge fan following not just among the common people for his cricket skills but also for his inspirational story of becoming a cricketer. He is known for his leadership skills back then when he started his career. It was through his vision and mission that India also got its World Cup in 2011.
