A spokesperson for Air India said on Sunday, “The issue with oil marketing companies is being resolved and a solution will come out soon.” Till then all possible steps are being taken to ensure that flights are not interrupted and passengers are not disturbed.

It is noteworthy that state-owned oil marketing companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum had written to the airline last week demanding a monthly commitment to pay dues and said that in the event of not doing so, six major airports But from October 18, the supply of fuel to its aircraft will be stopped.
