The Hindi language comedy-drama film is being directed by Advait Chandan and produced under 3 companies Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. The film is based on the 1994 American movie Forrest Gump and 1986 novel of the same name.

After 3 Idiots film, Laal Singh Chaddha will be Aamir’s second film with Kareena Kapoor and it will also mark the debut of Naga Chaitanya in the Hindi film industry. Apart from Aamir’s performance, what every movie buff is waiting for is to explore the 100 Indian locations in which the film has been shot. Although there was a break in the film’s shooting due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film is set to release on Christmas this year. Whether it will be released in theatres or on any OTT platform, that time will only tell.
