Paatal Lok is the latest web series on Amazon Prime Video, which was produced by Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma.
Although the web series received good reviews from the audiences, but it has been creating a lot of controversy for its bold content.
Recently, BJP leader Nandkishor Gurjar had filed a police complaint against Anushka for using his photo in the web series without his approval.
Also, the MLA wrote a letter to the broadcasting minister to stop airing the web series on the digital medium.
Not only this, Nandkishor also went on to ask Indian skipper Virat Kohli to divorce his wife Anushka for creating such a digital show, in an interview with a media house.
He said, “Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh k liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye (Virat Kohli is a patriot, he has represented India. He should divorce Anushka).”
Meanwhile, Anushka is celebrating the success of her web show and hopes to come with the second season.
Paatal Lok has Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Abhishek Bannerjee, Gul Panag, Swastika Mukherjee in key roles.
