Mumbai: The Mumbai Police, probing the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, has said on Monday that investigations have revealed that he had a bipolar disorder and was taking medicines. The Mumbai Police has stated this in the investigation citing doctors.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh told the media that investigations revealed that Sushant had a bipolar disorder. His psychiatrists were treating him and he used to take medicines continuously. ‘What were the circumstances that he took his own life?’ That is the subject of our investigation.
He further said that so far the statements of 56 people have been recorded, we are investigating from every angle that is coming, whether it is professional rivalry financial transaction or health related investigation.
The Mumbai Police Commissioner informed that the statement of Sushant’s father, three sisters and brother-in-law was recorded on 16 June. At that time he did not raise any doubt nor did he complain about any lapse in our investigation.
