Mumbai: In Rajkumar Hirani’s film PK, Aamir Khan was seen in the lead role while Ranbir Kapoor appeared in a small character. Now there are reports that Ranbir Kapoor can take forward the upcoming sequel of this hit film.
Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra said that he will make a sequel to PK in good time. He showed Ranbir Kapoor’s character landing on the planet towards the end of the film. So now, Ranbir will pursue the story. Vidhu also said that writer Abhijat Joshi has still not written the story and when they are completed it will be made a sequel.
Chopra also said that although he knows that franchisors can be money spinners, they are driven by powerful stories and not by financial gain. He said that if his goal was to earn money, he would have made six to seven sequels of ‘Munna Bhai’ and two to three versions of ‘PK’.
