Now COVID-19 insurance makes its mark in Bollywood

Bollywood is a film industry that is subject to many risks due the shooting requirements of different types of movies.

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming movie Looop Lapeta could be one of the first movies to be covered under COVID-19 insurance in the Hindi film industry.

The producers of the film are consulting a legal expert to get COVID-19 insurance for their various projects and Looop Lapeta is said to be one among them to be covered by the insurance scheme.

Looop Lapeta also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and is based on Tom Tywer’s 1998 German successful movie, “Run Lola Run”.

Nowadays, COVID-19 insurance will provide the required support just like how accident insurance covers do.

If the film actor or crew falls sick or the film goes through a natural calamity, which leads to halt of the film, insuring the film will be a safer idea.

This will help the producers to recover the money they shall spend on the days that get lost due to such unforeseen instances.

Looop Lapeta has halted its shoot due to coronavirus pandemic and the makers plan to resume the film’s shooting sometime after Diwali festival.
