Neha Kakar has become the latest Bollywood celeb to get off social media. The popular singer recently announced on Instagram that she’s quitting social media albeit only for the time being. So, before all you Neha Kakkar fans start fretting and questioning the meaning of life, let’s clarify that she has decided to take a temporary detox from social as she revealed that the constant barrage of negativity and hatred has was really getting to her (given the unfounded outpour of downright vitriolic comments target from behind the safety of a keyboard, she does have a point), and as such, she needs a break from it all.
The last post on Neha Kakkar’s official Instagram handle reads: “Going back to sleep! Plz wake me up when there’s a better world. The world where there’s freedom, love, respect, care, fun, acceptance, good people. Not hatred, nepotism, jealousy, bossy people, hitlers, murders, suicides, bad people. Good night! Don’t worry I’m not dying. Lol! Just going away for a couple of days – Neha Kakkar.”
