In such a situation, Anil Deshmukh has written a letter to the central government.
It has been told in this letter that he has received a complaint against the film from Raza Academy. The film has been demanded to be banned by the Raza Academy. Let me tell you, Majid Majidi has directed the film ‘Muhammad: The Messenger of God’, which is based on the life of Prophet Mohammad. Oscar winner AR Rahman has given music in this film. According to the information, this film is the biggest budget film of Iranian cinema.
At the same time, through this letter, Deshmukh has demanded that the film should not be released on any kind of platform as religious tension can arise due to this film. In such a situation, the law and order situation in the country may deteriorate. The letter said that the section 69A Information Technology Act should be used to suspend the digital platforms on which this film will be broadcast. Apart from this, all the digital platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp have also requested not to release the film.
